The Roman Candle Sparkler

On June 10,local kid-friendly restaurant The Roman Candle opened its fourth location, called The Roman Candle Sparkler, in our cafe space in the public DeAtley Community Concourse.

The Sparkler menu will offer delicious pizza, pasta dishes, and salads, as well as new kid-friendly snacks and other items made with high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Its menu appeals to customers of all ages. For visitors with a sweeth tooth, The Sparkler will dish up eight flavors of Chocolate Shoppe ice cream, including gluten-free and non-dairy flavors.

By mid-summer, The Sparkler plans to offer grab-and-go service for adults who live and work downtown. Custom pizza pies will be available to museum visitors later in the summer, too, through an “order-ahead” system where they could order at the museum counter, go enjoy an exhibit or program, then come back for their freshly made pizza.

The Community Concourse is a free public space and does not require paid admission, so anyone can stop in to enjoy pizza, ice cream, and more!

The Roman Candle opened its first restaurant six years ago in the near-east side Williamson Street neighborhood.  Since then, it has expanded to Middleton and Fitchburg, with a pizzeria in each city.
