Volunteer at Madison Children’s Museum to make a difference in the lives of families and children, while having fun along the way! MCM has a variety of volunteer opportunities for everyone. See below for details.

Requirements
All Volunteers: All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Application and clear a background check prior to their first day.
Regularly Scheduled Volunteers: Volunteers who want to commit to a weekly shift must:
- Complete and submit a Volunteer Application
- Come to the museum for an informational interview
- Clear a background check
- Attend a General MCM Orientation
- Complete training specific to the volunteer position
- Commit to 12 weeks of volunteering

Youth, Adult, and Family Volunteer Opportunities
To find out more about regularly scheduled volunteer positions, click on the titles below for more information. Each position description lists volunteer tasks, shifts times, and requirements. Please note that all shifts are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

1.) Fill out the application below that best corresponds to your age.
Adult Volunteer Application: For individuals age 18 and older.
Youth Volunteer Application: For individuals age 12 to 17 years. Please have a parent/guardian sign the application.

2.) Return the completed form by e-mail, fax, or mail to:
