Twilight Art Night

Enjoy free admission on the first Wednesday of the month, during Twilight Wednesdays, 5-8 p.m. Twilight Art Night happens each month too, 6-8 p.m.. Discover a new art exhibit and enjoy a chance to meet local artists. Plus, learn how public art is a big part of MCM!

Art Workshops & Activities

Fiber Arts
Thursdays, 2-3 p.m.
Drop-in each week to create a unique work of art using a variety of fabrics and fibers. Runs through May 16.

Clay Creations
Fridays, 3-4 p.m.
Join us for a drop-in clay creations class. Make pinch pots, clay animals or another small piece of your own design! Projects will be fired in our kiln and can be glazed or picked up on a subsequent visit. $5 project ticket can be purchased at the admissions desk on the day of the program. Advance registration not necessary.

Crafts from the Past
Fridays, 1:30-2 p.m.
Try your hand at crafts children would have learned in bygone eras.

Handprint and Pot of Gold Painting
Saturday, March 16, 10-11 a.m.
A fun, St Patrick’s inspired event for ages 5 and up. Cost is $5 and registration is required.

Painting Workshop with Jessica Ruiz
Saturday, March 16, 3-4 p.m.
Grab a brush for this drop-in art workshop lead by MFA student Jessica Ruiz.

Natural Egg Dyes
Tuesday, March 26, 1-3 p.m.
Decorate a hardboiled egg using a variety of natural materials including beets, onions and grape juice!

Hat Making Workshop
Wednesday, March 27, 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Work with a variety of materials to craft a hat. Ages 8 and up. $36/child. Registration is required.

Do-It-Yourself Series: Decorate a Spring Basket
Saturday, March 30, 1-2 p.m.
Ages five and up can decorate a festive basket using a variety of recycled materials. Cost is $5 per child.

SPARK! Workshops

SPARK! is an intergenerational family program for children 7 and up, their parents, and a grandparent with early memory loss. The program is a monthly free pre-registered art workshop featuring art looking, art making, and a reception with refreshments.
