Video Game Design Workshop
Sunday, March 30, 1-4 p.m.
Calling young techies! Visiting educators from E-Line Media visit the museum to lead a hands-on game design workshop. Get an introduction to video game design mechanics and concepts, work collaboratively to build non-digital games, and then get started making your own digital games with Gamestar Mechanic. The workshop is presented in collaboration with the National STEM Video Game Challenge and the Institute for Museum and Library Services. Learn more about the national program at bit.ly/13Endtw .

LEGO Lab Club
Tuesdays, April 9-May 14, 4-6 p.m.
$36 for members, $48 for nonmembers, and $18 for Family Access member, ages 9 & up
Step into our LEGO Lab and experiment with different types of LEGOs. Build a sculpture and use motors, sensors, and various doodads to create a robotic contraption.
April 21-June 2, 1–3:30 p.m. $10 per session or $50 all six weeks, ages 10-14
Take pictures, make maps, and interview people. Then make movies or write stories about your life and where you live! In this six-week class, learn the skills to become a KidShare investigator and complete a project of your own design.
