UW-SPICE presents “The Boiling Point”, a production of Fusion Science Theatre, at 3:30 p.m. The Science Symposium is co-sponsored by UW Center for Biology Education, Adult Role Models in Science, and Downtown Madison Kiwanis.

Madison’s Community Art Bike Rally has been moved to Saturday, June 6. Visit the museum today to help decorate a museum “Sock Art” bike for the June Rally. Celebrate “International Lost Sock Day” by bringing in your orphaned mismatched socks to add to the art bike!

On 5/17 join Jumpstart as we read Richard Scarry’s Cars and Trucks and Things That Go. Everyone can make their own car, truck, or other things that go.

Madison Children’s Museum hosts a free open house from 6–8 p.m. as part of the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art’s Spring Gallery Night. Join us for light refreshments, sculpture-building activities, and special Gallery Night art exhibitions by Franklin Elementary students and families from the
YWCA Third Street program. Junior Girl Scout troops may register to complete three workshop activities toward the Visual Arts Badge.
